As an Associate Claims Representative for auto, you’re at the front lines for our customer. Your primary role is to investigate and manage claim files to help individuals and businesses prevail after a claim. - Training: Monday - Friday during Core Business Hours. Mandatory travel required for in-person learning lab Aug 4-8, 2025.

- Compensation: $45,280 - $67,920 annualized base pay range. Other rewards (bonuses, incentives) may apply.
- Licensing: Must obtain and maintain State Adjuster's License (post-hire, training provided, exam passage required within 30 business days of training completion).
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle first and third-party Personal Lines auto claims (initially Property Damage Only), focusing on financial accuracy, proper file disposition, and compliance with statutory guidelines.
- Investigate Property Damage Only claims to determine liability exposures and identify potential subrogation opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building and maintaining effective relationships based on The Hartford’s communication standards.
- Make sound decisions with the customer at the center of all actions.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to gather, analyze information, and make data-driven decisions.
- Continuously evaluate performance against targets and aim to exceed expectations.
- Foster a courageous, collaborative, and inclusive culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Leverage modern technology to achieve accurate and efficient claim outcomes.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; College degree preferred.
- 1+ years of related customer service experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new skills to meet job demands.

- Genuine passion for assisting both internal and external customers.
- Ability to adapt to change and utilize industry-changing technology.
